Produced in response to numerous requests, the construction of a compact gripper that can remain hidden until use - an advantage if the dog is distrustful and nervous, and in situations where spectators witnessing an attempt to capture an animal will be hostile to see any device associated with cruelty to the animal. The Nabber grapple has a length of 47 cm and can be hidden by the operator's jam or can be removed from behind a jacket at the last minute. In fact, it is a shortened version of the conventional gripper, with the same functions. Another useful feature that has emerged during trials with this product is that, held by both ends, it can be used as a bar on which the dog's jaws will tighten in the event of an attack.
